About us

Casa Agave was founded in 2024 by a Presidio Native who teamed up with his two business partners, his daughter, and a dream to bring a full service bar and restaurant to the great city of Presidio. The community of Presidio has a 300+ year history of providing hospitality for the needs of travelers. Our mission is to bring new opportunity to the area with new flavors, weekly events, and a place for the wonderful people of Presidio and surrounding areas to come together with friends and family.

Our Team

At the heart of our culinary excellence are Chef Jose Aguilar and Chef Martin Esquivel, two passionate chefs whose combined expertise and dedication to the art of cooking elevate Casa Agaves offerings.


Chef Jose has been a prominent figure in the food and service industry since 2015. Joining us as Head Chef in 2024, he has brought innovation and creativity to our kitchen, consistently exceeding our guests' expectations with his flavorful creations.


Chef Martin shares a similar journey, starting in the industry in 2011. His extensive experience in cooking has made him an invaluable asset to our team. In 2024, he stepped into the role  of Co-Chef and Kitchen Manager, where he expertly oversees our kitchen operations and collaborates closely with Chef Jose to create exceptional dining experiences.


With over a decade of experience each, and ten years of working together, Chef Jose and Chef Martin form a dynamic duo. Their synergy and shared vision for culinary excellence ensures that every dish we serve reflects their passion and commitment to quality. Together, they continue to inspire our team and delight our guests, making every meal at Casa Agave a memorable one.
